Specialised language learning with XR and AI
All sectors, both professional and academic, require mastering a specialised language, a micro-language. From agriculture to logistics, from tourism to art, the specialist must acquire competence in the specific micro-language, first in his or her mother tongue and then in foreign languages.
Microlingua Lab uses extended reality and artificial intelligence for specialised language learning by students, but also by professionals for the internationalisation of companies.
Microlingua Lab consists of two modules: Immersive Glossary and Immersive Conversation.
The first module is Immersive Glossary, and allows the student to learn the meaning and pronunciation of technical industry terms within virtual environments. In this phase, learning takes place – first in the mother tongue and then in English – in an immersive, visual and interactive mode.
In the second module, Immersive Conversation, the student interacts with a 3D avatar in text and voice mode. A gradual learning process of the technical language and the main conversational interaction situations typical of the sector is realised.
